doreen kline photo Hi, I’m Doreen Kline and welcome to my Wedding and Engagement Blog.  I am a digital artist who photographs only weddings and engagement since that is what I love the best.  I live in Fort Myers, Florida and photograph destination beach and exquisite resort weddings from Marco Island, Sanibel, Naples, Captiva to Fort Myers.  My style is very classic and my work has been described as elegant, romantic, gorgeous and amazing.  My personality is easygoing and many couples tell me that they weren’t even aware of me photographing them on their wedding day.  I photograph a limited number of weddings and engagements a year to give your wedding the extra attention needed.  I use only the top of the line albums and products from the best printers that will last a lifetime.

I guarantee that you will be thrilled with your wedding and engagement images or your money back.  With all the stress of the wedding, having an calm, experienced photographer makes all the difference in the world.  Once your wedding is over and the cake has been eaten and the flowers have wilted, your wedding images and wedding album will be the only things that remain forever.  The most important decision you can make is choosing the right artist to tell the story of your wedding day from beginning to end.  Storytelling is my passion and my goal is to capture who you really are and the love you share for generations to come.

Please feel free to look around my blog and website.  If you would like to meet with me I would be happy to show you more of my work and fantastic wedding albums in person.  To contact me please CLICK HERE or call me at 239-823-7784.  I look forward to meeting you and telling your love story for the rest of time.  Thank you, Doreen

Koreshan Park Photography, Estero, Florida.  This week my niece Chelsea was visiting from Connecticut.  I remember the first picture I saw of Chelsea was 25 years ago, it was her ultrasound and it seems like just yesterday.  I have been photographing Chelsea for her entire life and she has always been adorable and a character.  She has grown up into a gorgeous woman and we are all so proud of her.  She is an administrator at Hospice in Connecticut and came down to visit my parents for a few days of R and R.  She was working on her tan while she was here and did a little shopping too.  Here are some images we did yesterday at Koreshan Park and Bonita Beach.  My mom came along for the photoshoot too and was y lighting assistant.  She and Chelsea did a great job.koreshan state park in estero photo

wedding couple photo at the sanibel harbour resort in fort myers, floridaSanibel Harbour Wedding Photography, Fort Myers, Florida.  Recently we had the pleasure of photographing Shelly and Paul’s Destination Wedding at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa.  They had the perfect weather for their wedding day.  It was clear blue skies and not too hot or humid.  Shelly and Paul saw each other before the ceremony in a “first glance” session and then we traveled around the resort together.  Shelly was escorted down the aisle by her 3 adorable sons who also participated in the ceremony.  Instead of the sand ceremony they had a Knot of 3 cords on a gold ring.  The first cord represented God and the second and third cord represented Shelly and Paul.  They wove the 3 cords together during the ceremony to signify their union with each other and God.  After the beach wedding ceremony we did the formal pictures with Sanibel in the background and then went to the Island Room for the reception.  They had a fabulous brunch while the maids of honor and best men toasted them.  It was a fabulous wedding and everyone had a wonderful time.  To view the slideshow from their wedding please click on the following link:  Shelly and Paul’s Destination Wedding at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa

Naples Vintage Engagement Photography, Florida.  This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Dani and Matt’s Engagement.  They both love vintage clothing and everything that goes along with the era.  So we picked an old Florida setting complete with a forest, bridges, lazy river with kayakers and antique buildings.  Dani and Matt are adorable together and so much fun to be with and photograph.  I am looking forward to doing their wedding at Paseo in Fort Myers next year.  Here are a few of their engagement images from Koreshan Park.  Let me know which one you like the best.  Congratulations Dani and Matt!

Port Royal Clubport royal club naples wedding photos, Naples, Wedding Photography. Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Angela and Robbie’s Wedding on Naples Beach at the Port Royal Club. They and their adorable daughter Emma are from Germany and were visiting friends in Port Royal who planned the intimate wedding on the beach. It was a very emotional ceremony officiated by Patrick Miller, Senior Vice President of Encore National Bank in Naples. They had a steel drum player during the ceremony and reception which added to the tropical feel of the wedding. Emma made sand castles on the beach while her parents were getting married and everyone celebrated with a fabulous dinner at sunset by the Port Royal Club. Their reception dinner was held in the outdoor Tiki Hut on the beach overlooking the Gulf. Marco Island Engagement Photography, Marco Island, Florida.  Karen and Mike are visiting Marco Island this week from Chicago.  Mike proposed on Marco Island a few months ago so it was the perfect setting for their engagement pictures.  We started at the Esplaengagement silhouette photo on marco island at sunsetnade with all of it’s colorful architecture and marina and worked our way down to the Marco Island Beach.  Mike and Karen were so much fun to work with and we were able to get a wide variety of tropical and beach backgrounds for their engagement pictures on Marco Island.  Thank goodness that they are athletic and in great shape.  We were 10 minutes past the curfew at the park and got locked inside!  After scaling the fence Mike called the local police and got them to unlock the gate to get their car out.  We don’t have any pictures of us on the fence but we have lots of great engagement images from our evening together.  Congratulations Karen and Mike!

Gulf Harbour Yacht and Country Club, Fort Myers, Florida.  Jack and Caroline were in town this week visiting their aunt Weesie and so we did their annual family photoshoot.  They love the pool and love to run on the beach at the island at Gulf Harbour so we did their 3 generation family photos there.  They visit from Connecticut every winter and I love to see how much they’ve grown since last year.  They are adorable as ever and lots of fun.  Here are some photos from our session this week at Gulf Harbour Yacht and Country Club.family photoshoot at gulf harbour yacht and country club fort myers
